Profile

Upon leaving school in 2006 I immediately started at Mason Baggott and Garton Solicitors as an Apprentice at our Brigg Office. Upon completion of my Apprenticeship I moved into our Criminal Team where I trained as a Secretary. During that period I was asked to provide support within the Private Client Department which led me to find a passion for this particular area of law. I have remained in the Private Client Department ever since and my interest in the same has continued to grow. In 2018 I obtained my Level 3 Diploma for Legal Secretaries and started my journey to becoming a Chartered Legal Executive in 2019. It is hoped that I will graduate as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2024 specialising in Private Client.

Specialism

I started as a Legal Advisor specialising in Powers of Attorney, I have since moved forward to include advising on and preparing Wills, assisting in Deputyship Applications and administration of estates, to include those that are intestate and those that leave a Will. I can also assist with general matters surrounding Inheritance Tax and estate planning. I enjoy meeting with clients and providing the support that is required to guide them through the difficult times of losing loved ones and also provide support in planning for their own futures.

Hobbies

Growing up I had a deep passion for singing, entering a number of competitions and joining the local choirs. Since having my son back in 2011, my hobbies now include our mutual love of football and supporting our local teams.

Favourite book

My all-time favourite book has to be Angela Ashes.

Favourite group/Artist

I have always been a fan of Soul Music, Tina Turner being my favourite.
