Sarah Jackson
Position
Conveyancer in Commercial
Profile
I have returned to the firm after having taken a career break to bring up my two daughters. I am not sure which will prove to be the more exhausting!
I grew up in Morton, near Gainsborough, and attended Queen Elizabeth’s High School. I continued into their Sixth Form college and took Law as one of my A Levels. I went on to study for my degree at the University of Leicester, achieving a Bachelor of Law with honours. I undertook the Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Sheffield, passing with commendation. I successfully secured a training contract at a firm near Doncaster and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. I joined the Panel Conveyancing Department at Mason Baggott & Garton in 2007.
I left in 2011 whilst pregnant with my eldest daughter. My family are my world and I am happy to have been given the opportunity to return to the firm on a part-time basis so that I can continue to nurture their exuberant (noisy) characters.

We love to have adventures as a family so most of our spare time is spent together. My girls’ social life is better than mine so I spend a great deal of time being ‘Mum’s taxi’! When I do get time to myself, I enjoy dance exercise classes and watching TV dramas.

I love musical theatre so anything by Andrew Lloyd Webber. I am currently enjoying watching ‘The Greatest Showman’ on repeat with my girls and the CD in my car is the soundtrack to ‘Moana’!
