How to join your online appointment

When we arrange a video appointment our software is Microsoft Teams. To access Teams please follow the instructions below. If you are experiencing difficulty please don’t hesitate to contact your solicitor.

How to join on a computer

Go to the meeting invite, sent to you on email and select Join Microsoft Teams Meeting.

That’ll open a web page, where you’ll see two choices: Download the Windows app and Continue on this browser instead. If you Continue on this browser, you can use either Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Your browser may ask if it’s okay for Teams to use your mic and camera. Be sure to allow it so you’ll be seen and heard in your meeting.

Enter your name and choose your audio and video settings. If the meeting room (or another device that’s connected to the meeting) is nearby, choose Audio off to avoid disrupting. Select Phone audio if you want to listen to the meeting on your mobile phone.

Join the meeting

When you’re ready, hit Join now.

This will bring you into the meeting lobby. We’ll notify the Solicitor that you’re there, and they will start your appointment.

How to join on a mobile

Check that you have the Teams App installed, this is free and you do not need a Microsoft account. If you need to download it visit the following links :

Then, when ready click on the meeting invite, sent to you on email and it will ask you if you want to join as a guest. Click on the guest button, it may ask you if the app can open your audio and camera, please say yes.

Enter your name and this will bring you into the meeting lobby. We’ll notify the Solicitor that you’re there, and they will start your appointment.
