The sale of goods to a consumer can be fraught with problems if the product turns out to be faulty, not what was advertised, not fit for the purpose for which it was bought, etc.

There is of course the Trading Standards Agency available to give advice in situations like this but what happens if the problem cannot be solved with a couple of amicable letters? Sometimes a solicitors letter will be enough to jog a person into being reasonable and resolving the problem. But if the matter cannot be solved this way then you may want to consider court proceedings.

Here at Mason Baggott & Garton Solicitors we can advise you on the terms and conditions upon which you bought the goods and what rights you have to reject them should they not be suitable for some reason.
