I then completed my legal training with distinction at Sheffield University before joining Mason Baggott and Garton as a trainee. I Qualified as a Solicitor in 1998

First Job

When I was at school I worked one morning in the local chicken factory. This was at a time when the welfare standards were not what they are now: I don’t think there were any. It was really brutal. I didn’t even finish the shift.

Favorite Book

It’s difficult to pick just one. The script of Under Milk Wood by Dylan Thomas.

Favourite group/Artist

Tricky one. The Stranglers, Lou Reed, TRB, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors and a bit of Rimsky-Korsokov or Borodin when I’m trying to be civilised
